A dentist can see you today — without the trip to Thika Road

Nairobi traffic should not stand between a sore tooth and a straight answer. Speak to one of our dentists by video, get a clear view of what is happening, and only travel in when there is a reason to.

Book a video consultationHow it works

Some problems don’t need the chair

A video consultation is genuinely useful for a specific set of things. Here is where it earns its place — and below, plainly, where it does not.

A second opinion on pain

Describe what you are feeling and where. We will tell you what is most likely causing it and how urgently it needs attention.

“Should I come in?”

The question we are asked most. A short call can save you a trip across Nairobi — or tell you to set off straight away.

Post-operative checks

Healing after an extraction or an implant? Show us the site on camera and we will confirm whether recovery is on track.

Orthodontic progress reviews

Between adjustments, a quick look at your braces or aligners to confirm your teeth are moving as planned.

A photo of a chipped tooth

Send a clear, well-lit photo ahead of the call. We will tell you whether it needs repairing now or can safely wait.

Prescription follow-ups

Checking how you are responding to medication we have already prescribed, without another journey in to the hospital.

What a video call can’t do

Anything that needs an X-ray, an injection, or a drill has to happen in the chair. A consultation over video can assess, triage, advise, and prescribe where that is appropriate — it cannot clean, fill, extract, or image a tooth. If that is what your problem needs, the dentist will tell you on the call and reception will book you in.

Three steps, nothing to install

1

Book online

Request a video consultation and tell us briefly what is going on. Reception confirms a time that suits you.

2

Get a text with your link

We send a private link by text to the number on your file, shortly before your appointment is due to start.

3

Join from your phone

Tap the link at your appointment time and it opens straight in your browser. There is nothing to download or install.

What you need on the day

Very little, and almost certainly nothing you need to buy. If you can make a video call to a friend, you can join a consultation with us — the only thing worth preparing in advance is your lighting.

A device with a camera

Any reasonably recent phone, tablet, or laptop. If its camera already works for video calls, it will work for this.

Somewhere quiet and well lit

Good light matters more than anything else. Sit facing a window or a lamp so the dentist can see clearly inside your mouth.

Your phone number on file

That is where your link is sent, and how the dentist reaches you if the call drops. Tell reception if it has changed.

Request a video consultation

Tell us what is going on and when suits you. Reception confirms your time, and your private link arrives by text just before the appointment starts.

Severe pain, facial swelling, bleeding that won’t stop, or a knocked-out tooth? Don’t wait on this form — call +254 743 666 444 now.

Your consultation link is sent here by text, so please double-check it.

Please don’t include your full medical history here — the dentist will take it on the call. We use these details only to arrange and deliver your consultation.

Frequently asked

What does a video consultation cost?

A video consultation is charged at a fixed fee, billed per appointment rather than by the minute. Call reception on +254 799 666 444 for the current fee, and to check how it is treated if you go on to be seen in person for the same problem.

Can the dentist issue a prescription?

Yes, where it is clinically appropriate. Our dentists can prescribe antibiotics or pain relief during a video consultation if the history and what they can see support it. Some medicines cannot responsibly be prescribed without an examination or an X-ray, and the dentist will tell you plainly if yours is one of them.

What happens if my connection drops?

The dentist will wait and try to rejoin first. If the link will not hold, they will call you on the phone number on your file and finish the consultation by phone where that is possible. If it is not, reception will arrange another slot for you — you will not need to start the booking again from scratch.

Is the consultation private?

Yes. Your link is single-use and specific to your appointment, so nobody else can join it. Consultations are not recorded. The dentist writes notes into your dental record exactly as they would after an in-person visit, handled under our privacy policy.

What if the dentist decides I need to be seen in person?

They will say so during the call, explain what needs doing and why, and reception will book you in before you hang up. Nothing gets diagnosed twice — the dentist you spoke to has already written up your notes, so your in-person visit starts from what they found rather than from the beginning.

Something we haven’t covered? Ask us directly — or read our privacy policy.

Talk to a dentist today

Tell us what is going on and we will find you a slot. If it turns out you need to be seen in person, we will book that too — on the same call.
